# What's New on ToolzPedia: New Tools Added in 2026 (Running Log)

ToolzPedia adds new free browser-based tools on a regular basis. This post is a running log of every new tool launched in 2026, what each one does, and why it was added. We update this page each time a new tool goes live. Bookmark it to stay current.

Tools Added in 2026

Currency Converter (Finance Tools)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/finance/currency-converter

The Currency Converter supports over 170 currencies with live mid-market exchange rates. You select a source currency, enter an amount, and select a target currency. The converted amount and current rate display instantly.

This was the first tool in ToolzPedia's Finance category. We added it because currency conversion is one of the most-searched utility queries on the web, and the tools available either require an account, show a marked-up rate rather than the real mid-market rate, or bury the result behind advertising. The ToolzPedia version uses live rate data, requires no signup, and runs completely client-side apart from the rate fetch.

Supported currencies include all G10 pairs (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, CAD, AUD, NZD, NOK, SEK) as well as PKR, INR, AED, SAR, BDT, EGP, NGN, TRY, BRL, MXN, ZAR, and many more regional currencies.

Interactive Periodic Table (Science Tools)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/science/periodic-table

The Periodic Table is ToolzPedia's first Science tool. Click any of the 118 elements to open a detailed panel showing atomic number, atomic mass, electron configuration, electronegativity, atomic radius, ionization energy, melting point, boiling point, density, standard state, element category, and discovery information.

We built this because existing free periodic table tools are either cluttered with ads, require an account to see full element data, or are static images with no interactivity. The ToolzPedia version is fully interactive, works on mobile and desktop, and surfaces complete data for every element with no paywall.

Color Picker (Design Tools)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/design/color-picker

The Color Picker lets you select any color visually using a draggable color space and hue slider. It outputs the selected color's value in three formats simultaneously: HEX, RGB, and HSL, each with a one-click copy button.

This was the first tool in ToolzPedia's Design category. HEX, RGB, and HSL are the three formats used in CSS, design software, and no-code website builders. Switching between them manually requires calculation. The color picker does the conversion in real time.

Gradient Generator (Design Tools)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/design/gradient-generator

The Gradient Generator creates CSS gradients visually and outputs copy-paste-ready CSS code. It supports linear, radial, and conic gradients with customizable color stops, angles, and positions.

This was added alongside the Color Picker to complete the core Design tools offering. The output is a standard CSS background property that works in any modern browser and any CSS-capable environment.

BMI Calculator (Utilities)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/utilities/bmi-calculator

The BMI Calculator computes Body Mass Index from height and weight in either metric (cm/kg) or imperial (ft, in, lb) units. It displays the BMI value, the corresponding category (underweight, normal weight, overweight, obese class I/II/III per WHO classification), and the healthy weight range for the entered height.

All calculation runs locally in the browser. No data is sent anywhere.

Percentage Calculator (Utilities)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/utilities/percentage-calculator

The Percentage Calculator handles four common percentage calculation types in one tool:

  • What is X% of Y?
  • X is what percent of Y?
  • Percentage change from X to Y (increase or decrease)
  • Reverse percentage: if X is P% of the total, what is the total?

Each calculation type has its own clearly labeled input section. This removes the need to remember different formulas or switch between calculator modes.

Word Counter (Utilities)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/utilities/word-counter

The Word Counter provides real-time word count, character count (with and without spaces), sentence count, paragraph count, reading time estimate, and keyword density for any pasted text. It is particularly useful for writers, students, content marketers, and anyone writing to a specific length limit.

Case Converter (Utilities)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/utilities/case-converter

The Case Converter converts text between UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, SCREAMING_SNAKE_CASE, and kebab-case. Paste your text, click the target format, and copy the output. Useful for writers normalizing headlines, developers formatting variable names, and data teams standardizing field values.

Password Generator (Utilities)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/utilities/password-generator

The Password Generator creates cryptographically secure passwords, passphrases, and PINs using window.crypto.getRandomValues() as the entropy source. It supports bulk generation of up to 500 passwords downloadable as a single .txt file. No password is ever sent to a server.

QR Code Generator (Utilities)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/utilities/qr-code-generator

The QR Code Generator builds QR codes for URLs, plain text, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS templates, Wi-Fi credentials (SSID, password, encryption type), vCard contacts, and map coordinates. Output is downloadable as SVG (scalable, print-ready) or PNG (screen and web use). Custom colors, sizes, and quiet-zone margins are supported.

MBTI Personality Test (Personal Tools)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/personal/mbti-personality-test

The MBTI Personality Test is a free 60-question 16-personality assessment. It returns your four-letter type, a full breakdown of your cognitive functions, strengths, weaknesses, compatibility notes, and a personalized profile. No email address is required to see full results, which is the main differentiator from most free MBTI tools that lock the detailed breakdown behind a signup.

Image to Text / OCR (Image Tools)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/image/image-to-text

The OCR tool extracts editable text from images, screenshots, and scanned documents in 17 languages, powered by Tesseract.js running entirely in the browser. Supported languages include English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Turkish, Polish, Dutch, and Swedish.

JPG to PDF (PDF Tools)

Live at: toolzpedia.com/tools/pdf/jpg-to-pdf

The JPG to PDF converter wraps one or multiple images (JPG, PNG, WebP) into a single PDF document. Drag to reorder pages before converting. The output is a clean, print-ready PDF with no watermark. Processing is entirely browser-based using pdf-lib.
