Disclaimer
ToolzPedia provides free browser-based tools and editorial content. Please read the following limitations before relying on tool outputs for consequential purposes.
Tool accuracy
ToolzPedia's tools are provided for general informational and productivity purposes. While we test each tool against real-world inputs and strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that every output is error-free. Specifically:
- PDF tools use the open-source pdf-lib and PDF.js libraries. Complex PDFs with non-standard features, encrypted content, or proprietary extensions may not be processed correctly.
- OCR tools use Tesseract.js. OCR accuracy depends on input image quality, DPI, and language. Results should be reviewed before use in any document that requires precision.
- Background removal uses the imgly background-removal library, which runs an AI segmentation model entirely in your browser. Results may be imperfect on low-contrast images or unusual subjects. The model file (~80 MB) is downloaded from a third-party CDN on first use and cached locally in your browser.
- Finance calculators (compound interest, loan, mortgage, inflation) perform mathematical calculations based on the values you enter. Results are estimates for planning and reference purposes only and do not constitute financial advice.
- Currency Converter fetches live exchange rate data from the open.er-api.com public API. Rates are updated daily and are sourced from public financial data providers. They may not reflect real-time interbank rates, mid-market rates, or the rates offered by any specific bank or currency exchange service. Do not use these rates for commercial transactions, legal contracts, or regulated financial activity.
- MBTI Personality Test is a psychological instrument intended for self-reflection purposes only. Results should not be used for clinical assessment, employment screening, or any purpose requiring validated psychological testing.
- Science reference tools (including the Periodic Table) display standard reference data sourced from published scientific literature. While we aim to keep data current, always verify critical values against authoritative primary sources such as IUPAC or NIST publications.
External services and data
Some ToolzPedia tools connect to third-party services to retrieve data or load resources. These connections are listed below for transparency:
- Currency Converter sends a request to
open.er-api.comto fetch current exchange rates. No personal data is transmitted. The request includes only a standard HTTP request with no user identifiers. - Background Removal loads the imgly background-removal model files from
staticimgly.comandcdn.jsdelivr.neton first use. Your images are processed locally and are never transmitted to any server. - All other ToolzPedia tools (PDF, image conversion, SEO, utilities, finance calculators, design, science) process your data entirely in your browser. No files, text, or inputs are sent to ToolzPedia servers or any third party.
