Refund Policy
This refund policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for paid subscriptions to the AdSense Approval Auditor, currently the only paid product on ToolzPedia. Every other tool on this site, and the Free plan of the Auditor, costs nothing and is not covered by this page because there is no charge to refund.
What this policy covers
ToolzPedia is a free tools encyclopedia. The only thing you can pay for here is a paid tier of the AdSense Approval Auditor (Pro, Business, or Agency), which raises your monthly audit allowance and unlocks audit history storage, priority queueing, and bulk audits. Every PDF, image, SEO, design, finance, science, and utility tool listed in our tools directory is free to use, with no account and no charge, and falls outside the scope of a refund policy entirely.
Who processes your payment
Paid subscriptions are billed and processed by Paddle.com (“Paddle”), our payment provider and Merchant of Record. In practical terms, this means Paddle is the seller you are formally purchasing from on our behalf, and the charge on your card or bank statement will appear under Paddle’s name rather than ToolzPedia’s, typically as something like “PADDLE.NET” followed by a reference to ToolzPedia. Paddle collects payment, calculates and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt, and carries out the mechanics of any approved refund. ToolzPedia sets and approves what qualifies for a refund under the policy on this page; Paddle executes the transaction.
7-day money-back guarantee
If you upgrade to Pro, Business, or Agency and decide it is not for you, contact us within 7 days of the charge date, meaning the date you were first billed for that plan, or the date a subscription most recently renewed, and we will refund that specific charge in full. We do not ask why. This applies the same way to monthly and yearly billing: on a yearly plan, your 7 days run from the date of that year’s charge, not from when you originally signed up.
How to request a refund
You can request a refund through either of the following routes:
- Contact ToolzPedia directly. Use the contact form or email mukhtiarwebdev1317@gmail.com with the email address on your account and, if you have it, your Paddle order or receipt number. We typically reply within 24-48 hours and, once approved, instruct Paddle to issue the refund.
- Contact Paddle directly. Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, you can also reach Paddle’s own buyer support using the link in your order receipt email, or by visiting paddle.net and quoting your order ID.
After the 7-day window
Outside the 7-day window, we will still review requests involving a genuine billing error, a duplicate charge, or a technical failure on our side that prevented you from using the plan you paid for. Separately, because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, Paddle may grant a refund at its own discretion under its own buyer terms in circumstances such as a fraudulent or mistaken transaction; that process runs directly between you and Paddle and sits outside ToolzPedia’s 7-day guarantee.
Cancelling a subscription
You can downgrade or cancel a paid plan at any time from your profile page, or by contacting us. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees. Cancelling stops future billing; on its own it does not refund the period you are currently in, unless that charge is still within the 7-day guarantee above. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account reverts to the Free plan. In line with our plan terms, unused audits within a billing cycle do not roll over and are not refundable on their own.
Situations we do not refund
- Requests made more than 7 days after the relevant charge, outside the exceptions listed under After the 7-day window;
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service, including misuse of the free tier or audit allowance;
- Dissatisfaction with an audit result that is accurate but unwelcome; the tool reports what it finds, see our methodology for how scoring works;
- A renewal charge where you had a reasonable opportunity to cancel beforehand and chose not to.
If a charge looks wrong, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks take longer to resolve than a direct refund and can result in your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
How long a refund takes
Once a refund is approved, Paddle typically processes it within 5 to 10 business days. Funds are returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few additional days for the refund to show up on your statement.
Changes to this policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised, and the version in effect on the date of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
